Ashley Gachett and I am from Houston, Texas. My major is Kinesiology and my minor is Professional Education.

I decided to come to Angelo State University, because it had the program that I wanted and heard that the program is really good.

I want to become a teacher, because it is really important to have an education. And to know that you can impact the child's future and influence their education is really important. My teacher in the first grade was so influential. I remember when she would have us write our name on our paper before we got in line for Recess. She would have songs for us to sing that was related to upcoming holidays. I remember telling my teacher that I wanted to be a pilot and she encouraged me to continue on with what I want to do in life. I am thankful that she didn’t discourage me like my family did. Teachers might be the only voice that can make or break a child.
